APLAC Releases Upgrade of Versatile RF Simulation Software

Helsinki, Finland -- N/A has now released version 7.91 of popular APLAC circuit design and analysis software. APLAC combines a powerful RF and analog simulation engine with rich analysis and optimization features. The software may be used as a stand-alone design framework or as an analysis tool integrated with other standard design environments.

APLAC 7.91 introduces a new interface for interoperability with Matlab software. APLAC 7.91 executes Matlab commands on simulation data, driving APLAC analysis even further and faster. APLAC 7.91 offers several new features and models for IC level and System design. New and enhanced technologies include a WLAN Signal Generator block and an IMT2 Mixer Model. APLAC Transient analysis implements an advanced algorithm making it faster.

As a connectivity tool, the APLAC Simulation Builder (ASB), integrates the APLAC Simulator with third-party design frames, making design work flow more efficiently. ASB integrates seamlessly between the Simulator and leading design frameworks such as Cadence's Virtuoso and Mentor Graphics' Design Architect, RF Architect, and PowerLogic.
