Cobham Sensor Systems (Exeter NH) was recently recognized by Ball Aerospace in support of the WISE (Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer) Satellite Program acknowledging their "…contributions to the successful launch and operation of the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer." Cobham Exeter designed and manufactured the antenna used on the infrared radar platform.

NASA's WISE mission was successfully launched and circled Earth over the poles, scanning the entire sky one-and-a-half times in nine months. The mission will uncover hidden cosmic objects including the coolest stars, dark asteroids, and the most luminous galaxies.

Cobham Sensor Systems (Exeter NH) has integrated design, test and manufacturing capability for a variety of flat plate and integrated antenna products, with applications including SAR, GMTI, fire control, weather radar, surveillance, missile, and space based satellite communications.

Collaborative projects with other Cobham companies include Surveillance Radar with Integrated IFF, X-Band Monopulse Array Synthetic Aperture Radar and Frequency and Electronically Scanned Antennas.

Two in-house near field antenna test ranges and extensive environmental test capabilities enable Cobham Sensor Systems to meet unique customer requirements on a broad range of antenna products.
