Anritsu To Showcase Future Connectivity Towards 6G At MWC 2025

Visit Hall 5 Stand D41 to Discover Anritsu’s Solutions for Accelerating Future Connectivity and Digital Transformation

Anritsu Corporation, a global provider of innovative test and measurement analytics solutions, will be showcasing its industry leadership at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona (Hall 5 Stand D41). As a trusted partner in telecom, Anritsu is helping improve today’s 5G performance and accelerate future wireless and optical connectivity for the digital transformation of industries. Key highlights at the stand will include AI-powered test tools, virtualized solutions to accelerate UE protocol development, an advanced digital twin simulation environment for C-V2X, and NTN mobility device testing.

Anritsu will also share findings from its cutting-edge research collaborations for 6G. This includes advancements in evaluation of FR3 RIS surfaces together with LGU+, POSTECH and Corning at RAPA, a dynamic RIS provided by TMYTEK, and industry-leading FR3 channel sounding with Aalborg University. Visitors can also explore demonstrations of AI-driven network assurance and customer experience monitoring, along with Private Network service assurance solutions.

AI for Frequency Spectrum Awareness
AI for Test Tools is a key innovation in test and measurement leveraging AI to enable new capabilities for analyzing captured data. These solutions, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), provide a new class of RF sensing built on Anritsu spectrum analyzers, surpassing the capabilities of existing spectrum monitoring solutions. By integrating with DeepSig software, this AI-assisted system detects and classifies signals while simultaneously analyzing the spectrum environment to enhance contextual analysis and decision-making.

Additionally, these analyzers seamlessly integrate with YOTASYS solutions, enabling a quickly deployable AI-powered spectrum monitoring system. In collaboration with Tor Vergata University of Rome, Anritsu’s analyzers further demonstrate the potential of AI in spectrum analysis by supporting a wide-area, machine-learning-based monitoring solution.

The Future of Service Assurance: AI-Assured Networks for an Autonomous Tomorrow
Anritsu’s Service Assurance platform, powered by foundational data and AI-driven insights, provides unparalleled visibility into networks and operations, ranging from large network equipment modules to individual subscriber behavior.

By integrating Ookla’s DownDetector data as an additional layer, we gain real-time insights into how subscribers perceive their experience with operator services. This enables strong correlations to be drawn between network issues and subscriber experience, enhancing overall service quality.

Through its partnership with SmartViser, Anritsu has demonstrated that Service Assurance is a critical component for private networks, delivering comprehensive visibility to ensure secure, reliable, and controlled operations and services.

C-V2X Digital Twin for Improved Vulnerable Road User Protection
Anritsu will showcase an advanced digital twin simulation environment, developed in collaboration with dSPACE, designed to provide improved protection for vulnerable road users (VRU). The demonstration will feature road safety use cases utilizing C-V2X network mode and direct mode communications. This solution creates a digital twin environment for real-world scenarios, enabling extensive VRU protection testing to be conducted virtually when features are not yet available on the actual vehicle or networks.

NTN NB-IoT Test Solution
Handover/mobility and RF sensitivity of Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) NB-IoT are two key topics for deployment of satellite ‘direct to device’ services. Because NTN uses satellites, this creates challenges with large propagation delays and low signal levels, resulting in a demanding RF environment. Anritsu’s solution, in collaboration with NEYOS, enables customers to test RF sensitivity and validate NTN-TN re-selection with seamless call connection in an NTN environment. The demonstration highlights Anritsu's commitment to advancing reliable and efficient satellite communication technologies.

Virtualized Test for Advancing UE Protocol Development
In 5G, a UE is required to support increasingly complex network configurations and adapt to continuous protocol enhancements. To facilitate protocol testing in early “pre silicon” phases and for efficient “regression test,” Anritsu has introduced Virtual Signaling Tester capabilities. In the booth, Anritsu will demonstrate this capability with Software Defined Radio (SDR) hardware, to make a complete device test solution suitable for early-stage UE protocol testing, enabling developers to streamline their workflows and accelerate 5G device development.

End-to-End Latency Statistics Between MEC App and Mobile Terminal
Ensuring reliability and latency KPIs is crucial for deploying Ultra Reliable and Low Latency Communications (URLLC) across emerging industry verticals, such as autonomous driving. Verification of this performance requires deploying advanced test tools across a mix of physical and virtualized networks. A demonstration highlights the high-performance MT1000A tester designed to evaluate network performance in the field, alongside virtualized measurement functions being deployed on the MEC/Cloud server side. This is combined with UE based logging of network conditions from SmartViser Neo tools to enable a unique set of highly accurate and detailed measurements for multi-domain KPIs of network quality, ensuring comprehensive insights into network quality, even while moving through the network.
