Analog Supplier CADEKA Announces 200 To 550 MHz High-Performance Amplifiers
Loveland, CO -- Analog supplier CADEKA Microcircuits introduces 10 new high-performance amplifiers. Although the company name is new, the strength of CADEKA's analog designers and engineers began in the late 1980s. CADEKA's engineering staff began working together at Comlinear Corporation, former supplier of high performance amplifier products. This is where the team discovered their passion for amplifiers and analog technology. Since those early years at Comlinear, the team's experience grew through three separate company transitions, including assignments at: National Semiconductor, Kota Microcircuits, and most recently, Fairchild Semiconductor.
"Our company motto is Amplify the Human Experience," explains Gary Ross, CADEKA's Chief Executive Officer. "Our focus is providing cost effective, leading edge analog products and solutions. Our amplifiers carry the COMLINEAR brand, illustrating our strong commitment to high-performance. We are amplifier experts and we are absolutely passionate about being successful with our core competency."
CLC2601/CLC3601/CLC4601 – Dual, Triple, and Quad 550MHz Amplifiers
The Comlinear CLCx601 family of dual-, triple, and quad-channel high-performance amplifiers utilize current feedback technology to provide 550MHz unity gain bandwidth, ±0.1dB gain flatness to 120MHz, and 1,500V/µs slew rate. These specifications combined with their large signal bandwidth, 200MHz at Gain = 2V/V and 4Vpp output, exceed the requirements of high-definition television (HDTV), set-top-box, and other multimedia applications. Offering over 50mA of output current, these amplifiers are also well suited for video distribution systems.
CLC2600/CLC3600/CLC4600 – Dual, Triple, and Quad 300MHz Amplifiers
Offering a lower power alternative to the CLCx601 family, the Comlinear CLC2600 (dual), CLC3600 (triple), and CLC4600 (quad) consume only 3.3mA of supply current per channel. With 300MHz of unity gain bandwidth, 1,300V/µs slew rate, 0.03%/0.04° differential gain/phase, and ±0.1dB gain flatness to 55MHz at 4Vpp, these amplifiers exceed the requirements for standard definition video requirements. Active filter applications, driving data converters, and instrumentation applications will also benefit from their high slew rate and wide bandwidth flatness.
CLC1603/CLC3603/CLC3613 – Single, Triple, and Triple with Disable 1.1mA Amplifiers
For power sensitive applications, such as portable video and instrumentation, the CLCx603 family of amplifiers consume only 1.1mA of supply current per channel. For additional power savings, the single-channel CLC1603 and triple-channel CLC3603 consume only 0.11mA per channel when disabled. The combination of 140MHz large signal bandwidth, 450V/µs slew rate, 100mA output drive, and low power consumption make these amplifiers well suited for many general purpose high-speed applications.
CLC2000 – High Output Current, Dual Amplifier
The Comlinear CLC2000 is a dual voltage feedback amplifier that offers ±200mA of output current at 9.4Vpp. The CLC2000 is capable of driving signals to within 1V of the power rails. When connected as a differential line driver, the dual amplifier drives signals up to 18.8Vpp into a 25Ω load, which supports the peak upstream power levels for upstream full-rate ADSL CPE applications. The low differential gain/phase (0.009%/0.06°), low noise (4.5nV/vHz), low 2nd/3rd harmonic distortion (-83dBc/-83dBc at 8.4Vpp), and high output current make the CLC2000 ideally suited for Customer Premise ADSL or driving video over long lengths (up to 1km) of twisted pair cable.
