Narda West's AMPS Fullband Transmit Filter is designed to provide sharp out-of-band attenuation while providing minimal passband insertion loss. Rejection on the high side prevents interference with paging, ESMR and Public Utility bands. Rejection below the passband prevents interference in the AMPS Receive band. The passband covers the 869–894 MHz AMPS Transmit Band. Insertion loss is 1.4 dB maximum over this band. Insertion Loss Variation is 1.1 dB maximum. The device provides 20 dB minimum attenuation at 866.5 and 896 MHz, and 80 dB minimum attenuation over the 824–849 MHz Receive Band. Passband return loss is 18 dB minimum. The design also provides for high power transmitter applications where multiple carriers are in use. The device is rated at 650 Watts Average power and 8000 Watts Peak power. The unit is also available with Type ‘N' connectors. Other configurations and connector options are available including forward and reverse couplers.
