Advanced Control Components, Inc. (ACC)

Advanced Control Components, Inc. (ACC) was founded in 1982. The focus of the company was the manufacture of microwave receiving components and microwave semiconductor diodes for military, commercial and industrial applications. The founders as well as the company staff had extensive engineering backgrounds in semiconductor device development and manufacturing process control.

The original product line was primarily used in receiver systems as a means of monitoring and control. Products included Tunnel and Schottky Detectors, Limiter-Detectors, Limiters, and a wide variety of component integrations for multiple functionality. Component operating frequencies had been up to 20 GHz, but capabilities now extend beyond 40 GHz. Package configurations of products include connectorized versions and modules for both microstrip and surface mount designs.

Today, ACC has broadened its product base to include RF and microwave amplifiers and control components, as well as higher level integrated assemblies such as antenna receiver multicouplers. ACC also manufactures RF and microwave PIN switches, variable and digital attenuators, as well as phase shifters. The amplifier products encompass both low noise and linear power from 10 kHz through 3 GHz with selected models operational at in frequency band segments up to 18 GHz.

As our product lines have expanded, so have the markets and market segments in which we participate. Commercial and military applications range from wireless voice and data communications to ground based and airborne radar requirements. Another major area of growth has been in the product group of subsystems. Antenna signal distribution systems such as receiver multicouplers, repeaters as well as upconverting and downconverting assemblies all play a major role in our ability to address wireless networking and satellite infrastructure markets. Service, innovation in design, and quality are inherent to every product we build.
