Aaronia Presents AARTOS At Milipol Paris 2025

High-precision C-UAS and EW technology as a contribution to the protection of critical infrastructure

Repeated drone incidents over European cities, energy facilities, and airports highlight the increasing vulnerability of civilian critical infrastructure. Non-cooperative UAVs in particular, which operate with high agility and growing radio diversity, pose new challenges for security authorities. Accordingly, Milipol trade visitors are showing great interest in Aaronia's AARTOS system, which combines detection, localization, and electronic countermeasures in a modular platform.

Tailored solutions for every application
AARTOS covers the entire spectrum of scalable C-UAS applications – from the ultra-mobile X2 for temporary deployments and rapid ad hoc reconnaissance to the high-performance X9, which delivers reliable results even in complex radio noise environments thanks to broadband receivers, sectorized antenna technology, high dynamic ranges, and precise direction angle determination. All variants support uniform sensor fusion of RF detection, optional radar, and EO/IR optics, thereby generating a consistent situational picture including altitude determination. The RTSA Suite PRO processes spectrum data in real time, identifies protocols, classifies signals, and visualizes threats without latency.

Detection and defense from a single source
Beyond pure drone detection, electronic warfare is becoming increasingly important, especially for protecting major events and security-critical facilities. The programmable 360° smart jammer from AARTOS enables the targeted manipulation of individual frequency segments or defined sectors – not only for UAV neutralization, but also for suppressing unwanted transmissions, disrupting manipulative radio signals, or securing sensitive communication channels. Thanks to its combination of broadband receivers, high sampling rate, and adaptive interference signal shaping, AARTOS is equally suited for demanding EW situation assessments and for operational protective measures in urban environments.

The response so far at Milipol, which ends tomorrow in Paris, has been correspondingly positive. Trade visitors from government agencies, the military, and industry are particularly impressed by the technical depth and modularity of the platform, in conjunction with Aaronia's RTSA Suite PRO software.

The trade fair has already been a great success for us. Interest in integrated C-UAS and EW solutions is growing steadily. AARTOS precisely meets the need for scalable, high-precision systems. We are proud that our technology is making an important contribution to the security of critical infrastructure in Europe and worldwide. - Stephan Kraschansky, Chief Defense & Government Solutions Officer at Aaronia AG
