Global MilSatCom 2024, the largest gathering of MilSatCom professionals, returns for its 26th year this November 4-7 at the QEII Centre in London. Supporting SSAFA, the armed forces charity, Global MilSatCom is the largest gathering of MilSatCom professionals and will feature five innovative events under one roof, providing unparalleled insights and networking opportunities.
- Cybersecurity for Space & SATCOM Focus Day: Kicking off on November 4, this dedicated day will address critical aspects of cybersecurity within the space and satellite communication sectors. Experts from international defense organizations will discuss current challenges and future solutions to enhance cyber resilience.
- Main Global MilSatCom Conference: Running from November 5-7, the core event will showcase over 100 expert speakers exploring the latest advancements and strategic developments in military satellite communications.
- SME Expo & Innovation Stage: A new addition for 2024, this platform will highlight groundbreaking technologies and innovative solutions from small and midsized enterprises, fostering collaboration and growth within the industry.
- Women in Space Forum: This forum will celebrate women’s achievements in the MilSatCom field, aiming to strengthen networks, share knowledge, and inspire the next generation of female space technology leaders.
- Graduate Careers in Space Conference: Addressing the global skills shortage in the space sector, this forum offers students and young professionals the chance to engage with industry leaders, gain insights, and explore career opportunities in MilSatCom.
New Initiatives
Armada International notes Global MilSatCom 2024 will introduce several new initiatives to enhance the conference experience, including an Advisory Board powered by SATCOM experts from across industry and military organizations.
Advisory Board member Chris Moore, VP Defense & Security, Government Relations, Eutelsat Oneweb, highlights the necessity for such a group, saying, “It is essential to build upon the 25 years of heritage by listening to feedback and continuing to evolve and adapt this impressive event. I look forward to working with SAE and my fellow advisory board members to help differentiate the event in a crowded calendar and ensure Global MilSatCom continues to be the main event in an incredibly exciting market.”
The conference is also debuting the Global Connect App, designed to facilitate networking and business interactions among attendees.
