Video: Maury Microwave Mixed Signal Active Load Pull System Demo

Source: Maury Microwave

Maury Microwave offers a turnkey active load pull system powered by Anteverta Microwave. This mixed-signal system uses advanced A/D and D/A converters to create, analyze and vary the impedance seen by a transistor or amplifier. The benefits of such a system over traditional mechanical tuner systems are numerous, including up to 1000 measurements per minute, achievable gamma=1, fundamental and harmonic source and load pull and easy on-wafer integration. This system is unique in its ability to control wideband impedances up to 120 MHz, thereby eliminating artifacts from the phase delay caused by traditional mechanical and active load pull systems on a wideband modulated signal. In this video from IMS2010, Steve Dudkiewicz from Maury Microwave demonstrates the company's mixed signal active load pull system.
