100 MHz Connectorized Phase-Locked Crystal Oscillator With Internal Reference-Detect Switch

plxo

The PLXO-100-XA from EM Research is a phase-locked crystal oscillator operating at 100 MHz and features an internal reference-detect switch.  When no reference is connected to the device, the reference detect switch automatically engages a 10 MHz internal TCXO, providing uninterrupted use of the PLXO-100.  Otherwise, the device Locks to an external 10 MHz frequency reference and exhibits exceptionally-low phase noise (-142 dBc/Hz @ 1 KHz offset), low spurs (-70 dBc), 0 dBm output power on a supply voltage of +12 VDC.

EM Research offers the PLXO Series in a surface-mount (0.9 x 0.9 x 0.15 inches) or connectorized (1.5 x 1.5 x 0.6 inches) package at custom fixed-frequencies from 5 to >500 MHz.  The PLXO Series features low jitter (<0.05 pSec. RMS @ 100 MHz, typical), optional internal references and select supply voltages (+3.3, +5, +8, +12 or +15 VDC).  PLXO devices are ideal for use with A-D/D-A converters, carrier recovery loops, system clocks, or as reference sources for frequency converters.
