A wide operating band in achieved in the CPRA-118/C44 parabolic antenna due to a specifically designed, ultra wide band cross lo periodic array antenna feed. The parabolic reflector serves to enhance the front-to-back ratio of the radiation pattern, as well as to increase the forward gain over a narrow beam.
