NuPower Xtender™ Bidirectional RF Amplifiers
NuWaves offers the NuPower Xtender™ series of broadband state bidirectional amplifier modules designed for extending the communication range of half-duplex transceivers. They combine power efficiency, a compact size, and ruggedized packaging, making them an ideal amplifier solution for unmanned vehicles, ISR, tactical communications, and other applications with size, weight, and power consumption restrictions.
The NuPower Xtender™ amplifier modules utilize the latest Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology and market-leading design miniaturization techniques. The amplifiers are capable of supporting a wide range of modern waveforms and modulations, and contain rapid transmit auto-detection and switching, as well as an integrated LNA. Additional features include compact and rugged nickel-plated aluminum casings, reverse-voltage and over-voltage protection, over-current protection, thermal protection, and high efficiency linear operation on select models.
