SATCOM Amplifiers
Model KMW2030P is an external low-noise pre-amplifier for use in the UHF SatCom mode. Operation of the pre-amplifier requires connection to the KMW2030 amplifier.
Model KMW2040 is an RF power amplifier module for OEM applications or integration into a user system. The module comprises a printed wiring assembly housed in a machined aluminum enclosure with feed-through capacitive terminals for connection to the DC power source.
Model KMW2040M17 is an RF power amplifier module for OEM applications or integration into a user system. The module comprises a printed wiring assembly housed in a machined aluminum enclosure with a 9-pin molex connector for connection to the DC power source.
Model KMW1040 is a portable, lightweight, fully automatic band-switching RF booster amplifier for multi-band VHF/UHF Tactical Radio equipment employing legacy, proprietary and emerging waveforms. The amplifier covers the frequency band of 30-512 MHz using six filters to assure acceptable harmonic distortion levels and is SINCGARS compatible.
Additionally AR has a couple of other "modules" that cover the UHF SATCOM band. The KMW2040M12 is a custom 100 Watt transmission system module with a Transmit filter for improved harmonic rejection, VSWR monitoring and level control and temperature controlled fans mounted on its own heat sink. The KMW2040M13 is a custom 50 Watt transceiver amplifier module with built in transmit/receive relay for use in a voice communication system.
