dBm develops and manufactures laboratory test equipment and subsystems for the RF marketplace, including wireless telecommunications, satellite systems, and military applications. Our test equipment product lines include:
- Carrier to Noise Generators
- White Gaussian Noise Generators
- Satellite Link Emulation
- Frequency Converters
- Frequency Synthesizers
- Broadband Solid State Attenuators
- Synthesized Signal Generators
The SSG, Synthesized Signal Generator, is designed to be a workhorse in the lab, providing a high quality synthesized output in a small package that is easy to move around, and a without the penalty of paying for features you don't need.

The Satellite link emulator emulates the RF link between a satellite and a ground station , or between satellite to satellite for full duplex testing. The link emulator uses the orbit parameters of a satellite to calculate Doppler, propagation delay, flat fading, path loss and phase shift for any satellite orbit.
The Carrier/Noise generator series with built-in power meter is used to add precise amounts of AWGN noise to set highly accurate EbNo ratios for BERT testing. dBm also offers a range of broadband noise generators for general noise applications.
The RF converter product line offers multi-channel RF Up/down tunable converter/frequency translators customized to specific customer needs covering L, C, S, X, Ku and Ka bands. Up to 8 channels may be configured in one chassis.
dBm also manufactures multi-octave programmable synthesizers with fast switching to 30GHz and typical step sizes of 100KHz or 1MHz for Radar and other high frequency LO applications.
The Broadband solid state attenuators offer 95dB of attenuation (up to 3GHz ) in a compact design. Multiple attenuators may be configured onto plug-in assemblies (16 channels per assembly) allowing efficient and cost effective RF attenuator/switching matrix systems.
