Teledyne Cougar designs and manufactures RF and microwave cascadable amplifiers and integrated assemblies for signal processing equipment operating in the 100 kHz to 20 GHz range. Cougar's newest products include VCOs, frequency mixers, threshold and analog detectors, frequency doublers, IQ networks, power dividers and switches. Cougar also manufactures limiters, limiting amplifiers, attenuators, and automatic gain control amplifiers. All products are available in many package configurations including TO-8, TO-8B, surface mount, flatpack, and SMA connectorized packages.

Cougar's devices are used in sophisticated airborne and satellite communications equipment, navigation and guidance systems, radar and sonar equipment, telemetry electronics, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems, and in high performance commercial test equipment. Cougar designs, builds, and tests components and integrated assemblies in accordance with MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-STD-883 for use in space, military, and high-end commercial applications. Cougar is certified to ISO 9001, MIL-PRF-38534, Classes H and K, TRB Option, and AS9100.
