WIPL-D Launches New Release Of WIPL-D Pro At IMS2012

Source: WIPL-D

WIPL-D Pro 10.0 brings a whole new look to WIPL-D Pro. The existing options were enhanced in terms of speed and stability, but the biggest break-through is the new, redesigned and customizable interface which tends to make a coherent whole with WIPL-D Pro CAD.

WIPL-D Pro’s new interface enables users to do everything they could do in previous versions and it still sticks to plate-and-wire way of thinking, giving in such way users the option to keep their old modeling habits. However, the interface is immensely improved with the re-invented Project Tree, which enables creation of entire project without using any other tool. Creation of Wipl-D projects with the new Project Tree is much easier and faster thanks to:

  • Single-click creation of all WIPL-D entities (Domains, Nodes, Wires, Plates, Junctions, Objects, Manipulations, Loadings, Excitations and Symbols),
  • Ability to edit and delete arbitrary number of selected entities,
  • Various operations (Group, Move, Rotate and Copy) on selected entities,
  • Easily accessible shortcuts for all EM (Operation Mode, Frequency) and Simulation (Symmetry, Options, Output Results) settings,
  • Easy navigation through the whole model, providing information about project parts and their mutual relations.

Thanks to its ability of manual mesh refinement, WIPL-D Pro is still the priceless other side of the coin for those who prefer WIPL-D Pro CAD. The mesh obtained from WIPL-D Pro CAD can always be inspected, modified and verified with WIPL-D Pro before running the simulation.

Some improvements of previously existing features brought with v10 are:

  • Field Generators are improved with the option Custom Defined Main Beam Directions, which allows user to define any values for main beam directions rather than a uniform grid.
  • The new and redesigned interface offers a lot of new and customizable toolbars and shortcuts within them, enabling user to organize working layout in such a manner to maximize Preview window while maintaining easy access to the tools user needs most.
  • Pre-Run option enables user to perform automatic checking of the model before running EM simulation. If the model is already simulated, it will warn the user about the deletion of previously calculated results.

See the list of improvements and corrections in previous versions of WIPL-D Pro.
