MTT-S 2006 Photo Diary

The 2006 MTT-S show kicked off on a beautiful, clear day at San Francisco's Moscone Center.

The Moscone Center marquee welcomes visitors to the show.

Sponsors were recognized for their support of this year's show.

The historical exhibit featured a collection of artifacts and documents chronicling the history of microwave achievements.

The Cyber Cafe was a hot spot for show attendees.

RFMD's towering booth stood at the front of the exhibition hall.

Agilent's booth was always busy.

There were fun and games at Xpedion's booth, where a visitor participated in a juggling act.

A crowd gathers at the CEL booth to catch some World Cup soccer action.

Dr. James C. Rautio, founder of Sonnet Software, delivers his MTT-S Distinguished Microwave Lecturer presentation, "The Life of James Clerk Maxwell."

Following Rautio's presentation, attendees enjoy some cake to celebrate Maxwell's 175th birthday.

Many thanks to the IMS 2006 Steering Committee, seen here during one of many pre-event planning meetings.

A good time was had by all at this Fairchild Semiconductor-hosted reception.

After the exhibition closed, tourist attractions like Pier 39 were popular destinations for attendees.

The famous sea lions of Pier 39 make some noise.

Did Donald Trump attend MTT-S? Nope -- that's just his likeness at the Pier 39 Wax Museum!

After a busy week at the show, members of the RF Globalnet team pose for a group photo.
