Emerson Network Power To Introduce New Line Of Type N Connectors

Bannockburn, IL -- Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions, a business of Emerson, is introducing a new Johnson line of Type N Connectors that meet or exceed the performance requirements of MIL-PRF-39012.

"Designed with the customer in mind, these Type N Connectors offer key advantages to guarantee ease of assembly and optimum performance" said Brian G. Mason, President of Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions.

Accurate assembly of semi-rigid cabled connectors is obtained with industry-standard assembly tools allowing the customer operation to 18 GHz.

All contacts are plated with 50 micro-inches of Gold and captivated flexible cable contacts can be crimped or soldered. Brass bodies are offered with Tri-Alloy plating for improved PIM performance and Gold plating where soldering is required.

Emerson Network Power will be exhibiting this new line of Type N Connectors at the 2006 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS), booth #1305.
