Rugged, Small, Lightweight Nanominiature Connectors
TE Connectivity’s line of nanominiature connectors feature high reliability, a wide operation temperature range, low contact resistance, and a ruggedized design. Their small size and weight make them an ideal solution for applications where such factors are critical.
Nanominiature connectors are 10 times smaller and about 10% of the weight of standard Micro-D connectors without sacrificing the same number of available positions. TE Connectivity’s line of nano connectors have an advantage over other nano connectors with voltage ratings of 500 V at sea level and 500 mating cycles (others typically feature 250 V and mating cycles of 200).
These connectors are ideal for high reliability applications that are space and weight sensitive. These can include applications in space, missile defense, UAVs, aircraft communications, and smart munitions. They’re able to withstand significant levels of shock and vibration, outgassing, salt spray, and other environmental and mechanical hazards.
