Link Microtek Signs Distribution Deal To Bring CCI Mobile Infrastructure Products To The UK

Link Microtek, the specialist supplier of RF and microwave components and subsystems, has signed an agreement with US firm Communication Components Inc. (CCI) for the distribution of CCI’s cost-effective mobile infrastructure products throughout the UK and Ireland.

Based in South Hackensack, New Jersey, CCI offers an extensive range of infrastructure components aimed at 4G, DAS and site-sharing applications. This includes a wide variety of antennas, amplifiers, DAS systems and components, complemented with a unique test-equipment suite for measurement, analysis and correction of passive intermodulation issues as well as DAS test, measurement and commissioning.

According to Martin Griffiths, Telecom Product Specialist for Link Microtek, the tie-up with CCI is an important move for the Basingstoke-based company. “The agreement opens up a significant extension to our product portfolio, and we believe our existing customers in the mobile infrastructure sector will be very pleased to have access to CCI’s comprehensive line-up of field-proven products.”

While Link Microtek expects to see customer interest across the whole range, the strongest demand is likely to be for CCI’s unique DAS solutions, including components, patented antennas and DAS subsystems as well as world-leading passive intermodulation equipment and solutions.
