100 kHz To 40 GHz Wideband Low Noise Synthesizer: Model 865-M

Source: Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation

Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation (BNC) offers the Model 865-M wideband low phase-noise synthesizer for applications operating from 100 kHz to 40 GHz. Features include a settable output power range from -5 to +20 dBm, a mili-Hz frequency resolution that uses a high-stability internal reference, and an internal reference that can be phase-locked to a user-settable external reference.

The 865-M offers dedicated sweeping capabilities with switching speeds of only 500 μs (20 μs with option FS) and internal phase and narrow pulse modulation. This module has a USB and LAN interface and can be controlled using SCPI 1999 command set. It operates with an external 24V DC supply and consumes less than 25 watts. Ideal applications for this module include use in ATE, LO for frequency converters, telecom and satcom.
