The UHS (Ultraflex Hub Sector) antenna series includes three new antennas
Andrew Corporationtraflex Hub Sector) antenna series includes three new antennas. UHS antennas offer good sidelobe and backlobe suppression. The proprietary technology delivers greater than 30 dB of attenuation at all angles outside of the main lobe. Combined with a -3 dB beam width of 30 degrees, their highly directive radiation patterns offer improved protection against co-channel interference from adjacent sectors and cells. UHS antennas can be mounted onto a vertical pipe of 1.9 to 4.5 inches (48 to 115 mm) diameter. The mount allows for fine adjustments of plus or minus 22 degrees in elevation and plus or minus 15 degrees in azimuth.

The Ultraflex subscriber transverter and antenna for fixed broadband wireless access offers compatibility with virtually any platform for subscriber to hub communication in the frequency range of 2 to 3.7 GHz, including in-band, MDS, and WCS return. The new design also offers a more directive antenna, integration of the antenna and transverter, and customer options for both temperature controlled and GPS remote referenced oscillators. The subscriber unit also includes a highly linear power amplifier, low noise receive amplifier, brickwall filtering, phase-coherent common local oscillator, and downstream RF level adjust. The new design offers a high degree of flexibility for custom designs.
