Buyers Bridge Appoints Vendor Management Engineer In Taiwan

Buyers Bridge Company recently announced that Phillip Wu has joined the company as Vendor Management Engineer. With highly specialized knowledge in procurement, quality systems and international trade, Wu joins Buyers Bridge's team in Taiwan, Republic of China at an important time in its development and will facilitate the expansion of outsourced supply chain management services.

In this assignment, Mr. Wu is responsible for directing Buyers Bridge's fee based sourcing programs including technical drawing interpretation and translation, factory auditing, pricing and commercial terms negotiation, sample generation and trial run, process optimization and logistics. He will report directly to Crystal Yang, Buyers Bridge's General Manager of China Services.

Wu has broad experience in apparel, consumer products, industrial hardware and electronic contract manufacturing (ECM). Most recently Wu was employed by Dynamic Flex, a well respected electronics manufacturer in Taiwan. He has lived and worked in Southeast Asia and North America.

Mr. Wu holds a bachelor's degree granted by the Chinese Culture University's department of International Trade and a Master's of Business Administration granted by the University of North Alabama. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and several Chinese dialects. He lives with his wife and children in Taipei, Taiwan.
