Abracon Introduces Precision Wide Operating Temperature TCXOs In 5.0x7.0mm Footprint

Abracon Corporation introduces its AST3TQ series of precision Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators.

“The AST3TQ series of Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators is available from 10MHz to 40MHz carrier frequencies with LVCMOS output, offering ±500 ppb frequency stability over -55ºC to +95ºC,” explains Syed Raza, Director of Engineering at Abracon Corporation.

“These devices comply with Stratum-III stability of < ±4.60ppm all inclusive error over a 20-year product life. Temperature stability options include ±100ppb over -40ºC to +85ºC, ±280ppb over -50ºC to +90ºC and ±500ppb over -55ºC to +95ºC operating temperature ranges. With maximum current drain of 10mA @ 40MHz, these devices offer OCXO level accuracy over a wide operating temperature range, with minimal power consumption,” continues Raza.

Potential applications for these solutions include: COTS Military Radios & other Communication Hardware, WiMax, LTE, BTS, CATV, LAN, LMDS, GPS Tracking with hold-over accuracy, Test & Measurement Equipment, and Point-to-Point communication networks.
