Endwave Appoints Four Vice Presidents
Arrington to Serve as V.P. Manufacturing; Hebeisen as V.P. Marketing; Layton as V.P. Sales; Teuthorn as V.P. Engineering
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Endwave Corporation, a leading provider of radio frequency (RF) subsystems for carrier-class, broadband wireless access and backhaul networks, today announced the appointment of four Vice Presidents to the senior management team. The appointments include Art Arrington as Vice President of Manufacturing, Mark Hebeisen as Vice President of Marketing, Steve Layton as Vice President of Sales, and Dan Teuthorn as Vice President of Engineering.

Art Arrington, Vice President of Manufacturing
Art Arrington serves as Vice President, Worldwide Manufacturing Operations and Site Manager of our Diamond Springs facility having joined Endwave in April 2000 as Director of Manufacturing. Prior to Endwave, Mr. Arrington was Production Manager of Milliwave, the millimeter wave products division of TRW. From 1987 to 1999, Mr. Arrington held various management positions within TRW, including automotive electronics, defense and semiconductor manufacturing and fabrication. Prior to TRW, Mr. Arrington held various production management positions at companies including Wangtek, Pertec Computer Corp, and Becton Dickinson Industries. Mr. Arrington majored in Business Administration at San Fernando Mission College, in addition to having completed several professional manufacturing programs at TRW, Ford Motor Co. and Manex.
Mark Hebeisen, Vice President of Marketing
Mark Hebeisen serves as Vice President of Marketing, having joined Endwave in connection with the September 2002 acquisition of the wireless assets of Signal Technology's Wireless Group (SWG). From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Hebeisen was V.P. of Technology and Business Development for SWG, where he was responsible for engineering and sales divisions of the commercial business unit, which designed and produced RF to millimeter wave transceiver modules for OEMs in the telecommunications market. Prior to 1999, Mr. Hebeisen was Director of Engineering and Sales, as well as an original founder of Advanced Frequency Products (AFP) -- a private millimeter wave transceiver start-up company that was later sold to Signal Technology. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Hebeisen held various RF and microwave design positions for both defense and commercial wireless applications with Alpha Industries and Raytheon. Mr. Hebeisen holds both BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Steve Layton, Vice President of Sales
Steve Layton serves as Vice President of Sales, having joined Endwave in 1998 as Director of Sales with over 20 years of engineering sales experience in the microwave/millimeter wave telecommunications industry. Prior to Endwave, Mr. Layton was the Director of Sales for VertiCom, Inc. from 1995 to 1998 where he was responsible for establishing sales channels and launching products for the SatCOM and terrestrial communications markets. From 1982 - 1989, Mr. Layton held various Director of Sales positions at Monolithic Microsystems, Microsource, and Pacific Monolithics. Mr. Layton began his career in sales at Avantek, where he was Regional Sales Manager from 1978 to 1982. From 1973 to 1977, Mr. Layton served in the U.S. Army in Okinawa, Japan as a Technical Assistance Coordinator. Mr. Layton holds a degree in engineering from the University of Hawaii and a degree in business from the University of Maryland.
Dan Teuthorn, Vice President of Engineering
Dan Teuthorn serves as Vice President of Engineering, having joined Endwave in 1994 as Sr. RF Engineer. Mr. Teuthorn has progressed in his role and responsibilities throughout his tenure at Endwave, holding Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering positions. Prior to Endwave, from 1989 to 1994 Mr. Teuthorn was the Engineering Manager responsible for the YIG oscillator product line at Ferretec, a division of Litton Solid State. Mr. Teuthorn began his career at Litton Solid State in the position of Microwave Engineer from 1986 to 1989. Mr. Teuthorn holds a BSEE from the University of California at Davis and MSEE from Santa Clara University.
