This directional coupler series utilizes stripline circuit design in an ultra small package while maintaining optimal electrical performance values. The design also permits usage as a bi-directional coupler, allowing the sampling of incident and reflected power. Design package accommodates SMA, N, BNC and TNC connectors. Design modification may be necessary for non-SMA connectors.

The 4209-31.5-1 is equipped with 2.92 mm Female connectors while the 4209-31.5-2 offers 2.4 mm Female connectors. Both the 4209-31.5-1 and 4209-31.5-2 provide 31.5 dB of attenuation range in 0.5 dB steps and operate from 100 MHz to 40 GHz.
