WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (August 31, 2001) --- Trompeter announced the introduction of a new gold plated 75 ohm circuit board BNC jack connector, the UCBJ224, for high frequency, broadband, high data rate applications. The 4-post construction with a longer center lead enables the user to "center" the part and quickly orient the legs to their mating plated thru holes. The legs are highly solderable and provide for a pcb standoff that facilitates the flow of cleaning solutions after solder operations. The design is true 75 ohm and features a solid polytetrafluorethylene dielectric for high propagation velocity and tolerance-controlled impedance matching thru a wide range of temperatures and frequencies.

This product is the newest edition to Trompeter's line of pcb connectors featured in their new published complimentary Printed Circuit Board Design Guide.

Product pricing in less than $1 in million piece quantities. Samples and information can be obtained by contacting Trompeter's customer service department at 800-982-2629, or through the website at www.trompeter.com.
