Torque Products
MegaPhase offers a series of torque wrenches and screwdrivers essential to limiting the amount of torque applied to products and equipment during testing and assembly. These products come in different coupling torques, and color coded handles to match up the specific connector types and torque values.
Torque Wrenches (Break-Over Style)
The Break-Over torque wrenches are essential for repeatable measurements in laboratory and production applications. These wrenches are slim and have thin stainless steel heads to allow for better access to tight spaces. When the preset torque value is reached, the torque wrench will “break-over,” eliminating over-torquing. Each wrench is designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO 6789:2003.
Torque Limiting Screwdrivers
The torque limiting screwdrivers are designed to limit the amount of torque applied to products or equipment during testing or assembly. When the preset torque value is reached, the torque screwdriver “slips-free,” eliminating over-torquing. The screwdriver is torque limiting only when tightening. These screwdrivers are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO 6789:2003.
