Simulating Compact Multi-Band Antennas For Wireless Applications

This application note demonstrates the different options available when using the WIPL-D Pro 3D EM Solver for the simulation of complex printed wideband antennas. It also illustrates the simplicity of using WIPL-D Pro CAD to create models for this type of antenna. The demonstration uses an antenna simulated within the 0.5 and 3 GHz frequency range, printed on a dielectric substrate with Er = 4.4 and 1.6 mm thickness.
