Richardson RFPD Introduces New 200 W Surface Mount Dual Directional Coupler From Innovative Power Products

Unique broadband design provides separate coupled ports for forward and reflected signals, with internal terminations

Richardson RFPD, Inc. announced recently the availability and full design support capabilities for a new dual directional coupler from Innovative Power Products, Inc.

The IPP-8090 is a 200 W, 32 dB, surface mount, dual directional coupler that operates from 500 to 3000 MHz.

It features a unique broadband design that provides separate coupled ports for forward and reflected signals, with internal terminations. The new coupler is produced in a surface mount (SMD) package.

Additional key features of the IPP-8090 includes:

• Insertion loss: < 0.30 dB
• Main line VSWR: < 1.30:1
• Coupled flatness: +/- 1.0 dB
• Directivity: > 17 dB
• Package size: 1.00 inch x 1.00 inch
