Pharad Introduces New Directive Wearable Antenna For UWB Applications
Pharad has grown its Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wearable antenna product portfolio with the introduction of a new directive wearable UWB antenna.
In order to meet the emerging needs of customers demanding higher gain UWB body wearable solutions, Pharad developed a directive UWB wearable antenna solution which complements the company’s existing UWB body wearable antenna; Model number BW-3000-10000. Pharad’s family of UWB wearable antennas has been designed to provide highly efficient radiating solutions over the entire UWB frequency range of 3 – 10 GHz.
“Our new UWB antenna features a directive radiating solution in a smaller form factor,” said Dr. Rod Waterhouse, CTO of Pharad. “We created these antennas to address emerging commercial applications for UWB technology, such as wearable health monitoring.”
Pharad’s newest UWB wearable antenna is being sold under Model number BW-3000-10000-EG. For more information, visit: http://www.pharad.com/uwb-wearable-antenna-enhanced-gain.html.
