Next-Generation Embedded Modules: AirPrime® WP Series
The Sierra Wireless® WP7502 is a low power 2G+3G+4G IoT module from the AirPrime® WP Series optimized for LTE Cat-3 connectivity for 4G networks with 3G and 2G fallback in EMEA. With a secure device-to-cloud architecture, the module enables IoT developers to build a Linux-based product using a single module.
The WP7502 delivers up to a 100 Mbps download speed, and has an optional GNSS receiver enabling tracking and location-based services. The module includes FREE unlimited firmware over-the-air (FOTA) upgrades for the entirety of its lifetime. It is available in an LGA package that measures 22 x 23 x 4.4 mm and is ideal for IoT applications such as industrial gateways, transportation, and mission-critical networking.
