Based on customer demand, Modelithics, Inc. announces an expansion of their now established X-parameter measurement-based modeling services to include conversions of non-linear equivalent circuit ("compact") models to X-parameter models. Such conversions may be especially of interest to Agilent Genesys customers who can now use this service to acquire X-parameter models that enable accurate as well as computationally efficient non-linear simulations.
Modelithics also announces the release of their latest version of the Modelithics COMPLETE Library of reliably accurate and highly scalable models for Agilent Genesys software. This expanded collection of well-documented substrate and part-value scalable capacitor, resistor and inductor families from popular component vendors broadens the design engineers' options for using simulation tools to increase efficiency and decrease design costs. The latest release adds 17 CLR Library models, more than 20 non-linear diode and transistor models and introduces Modelithics SLC Library models formatted for Genesys, which for the first time include X-parameter models and related examples. Numerous pre-existing models were also updated for improved documentation and performance fidelity. In addition, this release includes a new measurement-based substrate library.
