MEET 2017 is getting ready! After the successful first edition, the two-day Meeting on Electromagnetic Engineering Technology will be held this year in Rome at the Casa Dell'Aviatore (The Aviators' House), on September 26 and 27. This second edition will look at the way electromagnetic engineering is revolutionizing our work today with industry case studies on how the synergy between simulation and measurement is expanding into the product design phase of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) process.

The purpose of the international MEET event, organized by IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi, is to share the latest cutting edge aspects of EME technology through the use of real-case applications from around the world and introductions to various virtual and physical testing systems, and also to facilitate collaboration among industry, regulatory entities and academic experts.

Fast technological development in electromagnetic engineering (EME) has driven industry efficiency through faster times to market, and reduced product and development costs. From new numerical techniques for simulation, to their full integration into the design & engineering phase of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) process, from physical-testing and laboratory measurements, to the correlation of modeling and simulation for effective product EM performance optimization, from meta-material simulation to environment EM scenario modeling and optimization, IDS is further expanding its 30 year heritage in this field from defense applications to most of today's new application fields such as IoT, driverless vehicles, E3-spectrum environment and bio-medical.

The agenda will also include open round table discussions on current key topics, keynote presentations from industry and academic leaders and the opportunity to request private technology sessions to examine your specific issues or problems. You can see the video of the previous edition – here - where you can also download the MEET 2017 program preview and register for the event.
