Measuring Transients With A Signal Source Analyzer - Tutorial Video
Source: Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation
Measure frequency vs. time using the new Transient Mode measurement option on the Berkeley Nucleonics Phase Noise Tester. This measurement mode enables both wide band and narrow band measurements with high measurement rates and long measurement spans (track drift over time). Use the wide band measurement to analyze large frequency changes. Measure and characterize a 100 uS transient period between a 1 GHz and 2 GHz signal from an RF Signal Generator. Measure and characterize a 10 kHz frequency modulation.
