Microsemi-RFIS manufactures a wide variety of Detector Log Video Amplifiers (DLVAs), Extended Range Detector Log Video Amplifiers (ERDLVAs), and Successive Detection Log Video Amplifiers (SDLVAs). These products are made possible by our recent acquisition of ALC Microwave.
DLVAs are designed and manufactured using a combination of surface mount and hybrid technology. They are highly ruggedized to meet the most stringent of mil-spec environments. Extended Range DLVAs incorporate high gain limiting amplifiers for increased dynamic range (down to thermal noise x RF bandwidth). Microsemi-RFIS DLVAs are an economical choice for logarithmic detection systems requiring less than 20 MHz video bandwidth or systems requiring CW immunity over a wide dynamic range.
SDLVAs use a 100% thin film hybrid design approach. These units incorporate high gain limiting amplifiers to achieve wide dynamic range. The design offers wide video bandwidth capability, accurate pulse response and excellent temperature stability. They are qualified to the most stringent mil-spec requirements. They are ideal for high speed logarithmic detection systems where accuracy and environmental stability are critical.
Microsemi-RFIS also manufactures multi-channel, multiple frequency bands (conventional and millimeter-wave) and combination (log and linear) output devices. Microsemi-RFIS also specializes in custom packaging of Log Video Amplifiers for platform specific applications.
