Kymeta Develops Novel Metamaterial Antennas with CST STUDIO SUITE

Metamaterials Surface Antenna Technology (MSA-T) is a new reconfigurable antenna technology designed to enable the widespread adoption of satellite broadband for internet access. This technology uses several thousand sub-wavelength resonators, and as such, designing a working MSA-T antenna involves numerous independent variables when trying to optimize its performance. This case study explains how CST’s electromagnetic simulation software was used to help design these unique antenna types.
