Keeping Vertical: DIN Rail Kit For ViaLiteBlue OEM Modules

By allowing ViaLiteHD Blue OEM modules to be easily mounted vertically, ViaLite’s new DIN Rail Mounting Kit allows users to make more efficient use of space inside equipment racks.

“We have introduced the DIN Rail mount option in response to customer demand,” said ViaLite Director of Sales Richard Jacklin. “It makes a logical addition to our range of enclosure options.”

The kit comes complete with bracket, thermal pad and fixings.

The Blue OEM is a compact RF over fiber module which is available for ViaLiteHD RF bands up to 4.2 GHz, in either transmitter or receiver format. It can be used as a standalone link or integrated into larger systems.

The DIN Rail concept is widely used in the industry and can save installation time as devices can simply “snap” onto the metal rail. Equipment racks can be quickly assembled in linear configurations that provide high density and flexibility as well as savings in design time.
