IDS And Skytech At SATELLITE 2017: The Future Is Now
Space-segment technology is evolving and has forced significant advances in the ground-based technology, especially with easy to install multi-band antenna designs. To respond to this rapid change and demand, IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi and Skytech have joined to offer advanced antennas for space applications and software tools for electromagnetic performance analysis and design.
At SATELLITE 2017, IDS and Skytech will present high-performance VSAT equipment. Skytech multi-band Ku/Ka and X/Ku/Ka terminals are characterized by high-end construction materials and technologies such as carbon, titanium, and metal alloys from the aeronautical industry for motor structure, dish targeting, RF payload and illuminators; high-performance transmission bandwidth; user-friendliness.
Looking at the “new space”, Skytech is already into Q/V/W bands which are the cornerstone of the next generation of MEO/LEO satellites. The future is now.
