High Voltage Distribution Unit (HVDU)
HUBER+SUHNER offers an extremely customizable high voltage distribution unit for use in any electrical vehicle on land or in the air that requires high-voltage distribution through a respective HV-wiring system. This includes many types of commercial and special electrical vehicles, including buses, trucks, excavators, snow ploughs, and street sweepers.
The HVDU features highly flexible housing dimensions, EMC protection, ingress protection, power line protection, and security through an interlock circuit. This unit distributes energy between the battery, alternator, engine and secondary units. HUBER+SUHNER develops customized HVDUs and can deliver the preassembled cabling as part of the service.
