The T3 (Two-Tone-Terminator) High Linearity/IP3 Mixer was developed by Marki Microwave to address intermodulation distortion suppression in modern military and commercial RF/Microwave systems. It features low conversion loss (<7 dB), unparalleled IMD suppression, a high 1dB compression point, and more. It's based on the most sophisticated mixer circuit technology commercially available today.
The T3 High Linearity/IP3 Mixer enables revolutionary system performance. In terms of two tone intermodulation (IP3), spurious intermodulation products, and 1 dB LO compression, the T3 is the world's best performing mixer. A typical mixer optimizes IP3 performance over a very narrow bandwidth. The T3 features extremely broadband and overlapping LO, RF, and IF ports. Typical mixers also usually optimize over a 3 dB range. The T3 features flexible LO drive response, improving across a 10 dB LO power range. Additional features include:
Low conversion loss (<7 dB)
Unparalleled IMD suppression. Input third order intercept (IIP3) is typically 10 dB higher than the LO drive across the band.
High 1 dB compression point. The T3 compression point is approximately 1-3 dB below the LO drive level. Conventional mixers compress 5-7 dB below the LO drive level.
IP3 performance responds to LO risetime instead of power, allowing a low power square wave to achieve very high IIP3 performance.
