Guerrilla RF Releases New Low-Current, Low Noise Amplifiers/Linear Drivers With Integrated Bypass

Cost-effective LNAs Feature Industry-leading RF Capability; Optimal for Demanding Small Cell, Cellular Booster and Repeater Applications

Guerrilla RF Inc., a leading provider of high performance RFICs and MMICs, recently introduces two new additions to the company’s family of low-current, low noise amplifiers and linear drivers. Both devices are tunable over 100 to 3800 MHz, and each part exhibits outstanding gain and noise figure with a typical bias condition of 3.3 volts and 15 mA.

These new broadband, low noise, linear amplifiers, with and without integrated bypass, cover a wide bandwidth with minimal external parts – yielding a compact, low-cost solution. These devices integrate low noise figure, good linearity and low-loss bypass functionality into our small DFN-6 (1.5mm x 1.5mm) application footprint, making it ideal for demanding small cell, cellular booster and repeater transmit-receive applications in the 700 – 3800 MHz frequency bands.

“Guerrilla RF is proud to offer these new LNAs/linear drivers, which address an evergrowing industry need for cost-effective, broadband, discrete amplifiers delivering strong, consistent performance over a wide range of operating conditions. With flexible biasing (Vdd = 2.7-5.0V; Iddq = 10-25mA) , these amplifiers provide consistent performance at low currents and very competitive prices.” said Alan Ake, Vice President of Applications and Technical Marketing at Guerrilla RF.

“The GRF2373 and GRF2374 are our initial product offerings utilizing InGaP HBT”, continued Ake. “We’re very excited about the introduction of our InGaP HBT portfolio. Stay tuned in the coming months for additional announcements regarding our new power amplifier products.”

According to Research and Markets, the overall wireless network infrastructure market will witness tremendous growth over the coming years. At a compound annual growth rate of over 5 percent, the market will account for over $104B in annual spending by the end of 2020.

Pricing and Availability
Samples and evaluation boards are available now for both devices, with production available in Q4 2018. Pricing for 10,000 parts is $0.40 and $0.42 each for the GRF2373 and GR2374, respectively.
