Greenray Industries, Inc. announces the celebration of their 50th year of operation as a provider of high performance frequency control products.

Founded in 1961 by Raymond Green, Greenray Industries early years focused primarily on direct sales to the military. Early oscillator products, which included LC (coil capacitor) and RC (resistor capacitor) oscillators - and did not utilize quartz crystals - were tuneable over a broad band range but did not approach modern standards for stability and (low) noise performance. In addition to oscillators, the company designed and manufactured various sub-systems including amplifiers, multipliers and bandpass filters, among others.

Greenray has, over the years, played a key role in the evolution of frequency control devices toward higher stability, lower noise, and compact size. In addition, the company has expanded design and manufacturing capabilities to support the needs of new and emerging markets including SATCOM, GPS, wired and wireless communications, and instrumentation.
