Fort Myers, FL - Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions, now offers a 1.8 V HCMOS oscillator that combines an extremely small footprint with exceptionally low heat generation and current consumption. The RoHS-compliant F210 series is only 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm with an input current of only 2.5 mA to 5.0 mA across the entire 0.75 MHz to 50.00 MHz frequency range.

The new F210 oscillator series is ideal for environments with minimal air circulation, such as compact consumer electronics and weather-proof enclosures. They are also used in a wide range of other portable and battery powered devices including satellite and terrestrial radio; WiMax, 802.11 and Bluetooth wireless; wired and optical networks for voice, data and Internet as well as for automotive and test equipment; remote sensing equipment; and GPS.

The oscillators feature a standby function that reduces current consumption to 10 micro amps for more efficient power usage and offer stabilities from ±25 ppm to ±100 ppm across an operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C (+14°F to +158°F), with ±50 ppm and ±100 ppm stabilities available across an extended range of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F).

Pricing for an F210 series HCMOS oscillator (25 MHz, ±50 ppm F215 model) starts at $0.99 per piece in quantities of 10,000, on a standard tape and reel assembly. Delivery is 8 weeks ARO.
