Dither-Free Modulator Bias Controllers: octane®

Pharad's octane® dither-free modulator bias controllers provide precision and highly stable control of optical modulators with a small form factor board and compact footprint of 2.5" by 2.0". The modulators have periodic and non-periodic transfer functions, and non-dither based control ensures that unwanted dither tones do not impact link performance. Users have the ability to continuously tune these modulator bias controllers. Modular bias voltage is selectable, in addition to the more conventional quadrature bias point of the modulator's transfer characteristic.
