Determine Interference Problems With Narda's IDA 2: Example GSM

Because antennas are so close together in modern cell phone stations, they can’t help but affect each other. Because TX antennas have a higher field strength, they tend to interfere with RX channels. This application note discusses a case in which a continuous impairment in the GSM 900 band was affecting a cell phone station’s performance, and how Narda’s IDA 2 interference and direction analyzer was able to help.
