Applied Instruments, Inc. is a privately-owned company that designs, manufactures, and sells test equipment to the telecommunications industry. We began operations in 1986 to meet the requirements of cable television operators who needed specific equipment to ensure the integrity of their new or existing systems.

From that beginning, our product line has evolved and expanded due to the direct input from our customers. The emphasis on quality engineering has allowed a responsiveness to those requests that has built a reputation for dependability and cost effectiveness.

Applied Instruments has continued to grow steadily in recent years and is poised to take advantage of the ever-changing telecommunications industry. Our operations, located on the south side of Indianapolis, are designed to allow close communication between our production and engineering staffs. This production philosophy allows us to utilize the expertise of both groups to the fullest extent possible.

Recent additions to the engineering, production, and administrative staffs have given us the capacity to handle volume increases as they occur. Furthermore, in addition to our own production group, we utilize an outside manufacturing company for sub-assembly fabrication. This process gives us a flexible capacity which allows adjustment to decreases in demand during lean times or meet nearly any delivery schedule as customer requirements dictate.
