Through a joint venture with Microwave Solutions Ltd. in the UK, MDT is able to offer a range of X band planar transceivers. These units have been specifically designed for high volume, low cost applications and are suitable for such uses as data transmission, range (distance) measurement, intrusion alarms, automatic door openers and speed measurement.
The various units also offer a range of antenna beam widths, as well as some with electronic tuning. Low profile, rugged construction and low power consumption also make them ideal for remote battery powered applications.
All models utilize a dielectrically stabilized FET oscillator which enables a wide operating temperature range and aids all the units to fully meet FCC part 15 requirements.
