Through a joint venture with InnoSenT in Germany, MDT is able to offer a range of K band planar transceivers. These units have been specifically designed for high volume, low cost applications and are suitable for such uses as data transmission, range (distance) measurement, intrusion alarms, automatic door openers and speed measurement and traffic control.
The various units offer a range of antenna beam widths, as well as various IF amplification levels. This range of transceivers also offers an electronic tuning capability that enables easy realization of FMCW systems. Low profile, rugged construction and low power consumption also make them ideal for all environmental requirements.
All models utilize a stabilized pHEMT oscillator which enables a wide operating temperature range and aids all the units to fully meet FCC requirements.
