Many mobile communications applications require a cable assembly to withstand severe crushing or over bending situations. Cobham offers the WW cables as a solution to this problem.
The wire wound construction shown above solves several common problems:
- Prevents damage from crushing (stepping on assembly or running over it) during installation and in use.
- Prevents damage from overbending by preventing bends tighter than the minimum bend radius.
- Eliminates kinking during installation.
- Prevents damage due to overly tight tie wraps.
