Many mobile communications applications require a cable assembly to withstand severe crushing or over bending situations. Cobham offers the WW cables as a solution to this problem.

The wire wound construction shown above solves several common problems:

Prevents damage from crushing (stepping on assembly or running over it) during installation and in use.
Prevents damage from overbending by preventing bends tighter than the minimum bend radius.
Eliminates kinking during installation.
Prevents damage due to overly tight tie wraps.
